Although the later ZenFone lines haven’t been on as strict a release schedule as phones from other manufacturers, it’s still relatively late in the year for Asus to have announced nothing about ZenFone 7 to this point. The loop, named “Flip deine globe” or “Flip your globe,” indicates that the Zenfone 6 flip-up camera might make a comeback. The company has yet to show off the rear of the unit, so we just can’t confirm that.
Rumors are already beginning to filter into what the phone would cost too: a starting price as low as 499 euros (about $595/450 / AU$820) has been pushed by a well-respected leaker, so we’re hoping for a lot of value for money.
Asus ZenFone 7 Camera and Battery
As we reported, the reports say that the ZenFone 7 would feature the flip camera of its predecessor. Although the ZenFone 6 dual cameras consisted of a 48MP main shooter and an ultra-wide 13MP camera, the expectation is that its successor would cram more sensors into the flip segment.
ZenFone 7 could have packed a 5,000mAh battery much like its predecessor, according to certifications reportedly issued by the Taiwan National Communications Commission and Japan’s TUV Rheinland. It can also come with a fast 30W charger.
