Mi Launches Mi Smart Band 5 and more amazing IOT products. Xiaomi unveiled a range of mobile devices at its 2021 edition of the Mi Smarter Living virtual keynote event on Tuesday.
The products include its first smartwatch and smart speaker in India, and Mi Band 5, along with Mi Automatic Soap Dispenser, Mi Smart LED Bulb (White) and Mi Athleisure Sneakers.
1. Mi Smart Band 5
Mi Launches Mi Smart Band 5, The new Xiaomi Fitness Tracker has a six-axis accelerometer and can also track your heart rate and sleep efficiency index as well as identify your swim strokes – the Mi Tracker 5 is 5ATM accredited.
The Mi Smart Band 5 is the replacement of the Mi Smart Band 4 released last year. This new workout band was launched in June in China. As a result of a recent leak, the Mi Smart Band 5 is priced at Rs. 2,999, but may be offered at an even cheaper price tag of Rs. 2,499.
2. Mi Smart Bulb
You should combine the bulb with the Mi Home app. You can also connect it with the Google Home app and the Amazon Echo app. It will be available from mi.com today and is priced at Rs 499. The bulb has voice activation and is compliant with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
One important feature that you should note before purchasing the Xiaomi Mi LED Wi-Fi Smart Bulb is that instead of the B22 bayonet norm that is frequently used in India, the Mi LED Wi-Fi Smart Bulb has a screw ridge base built for the E27 buyers. The latter can be seen on some decorative lamps and candlesticks, but most Indian homes are equipped with B22 bulb holders.
3. Mi Smart Speaker
The Mi Smart Speaker is Xiaomi ‘s contribution to the Amazon Echo. It is based on Google’s Home app, which ensures that it listens to “Hello Google” or “Yes Google” voice commands and launches Google Assistant for assistance. But the main distinction is the use of the event. Xiaomi has customised the Mi Smart Speaker to be the first speaker, and the smart bit is just an icing on the cake.
The 12W speaker is fitted with a metal mesh with 10,531 “precise” sound holes and a 63,5 mm sound motor. It comes with DTS Specialist tuning and Texas Instruments TAS5805 M Hi-Fi audio processor for 360-degree surround sound output. Multiple Mi Smart Speakers can be combined with a stereo sound in the same space, and there’s even a Chromecast built in.
4. Mi Automatic Soap dispenser
The dispenser can feel your hands in less than 1.25 seconds. It can accommodate up to 300 ml of soap. It’s priced at Rs 999 and comes with a free liquid soap pocket.
Xiaomi Automated soap dispenser operates under the principle of combining water with liquid soap, which results in soap foam. Each part of the foam is enough to wash your hands properly. Mixing soap with water is typically achieved in amounts of 1:12 (soap to air) and is thus very economical for a daily household. You will see a carton on the back of the dispenser.
5. Mi Athleisure shoes
The name, Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2, is a buzzword — maybe Xiaomi wants to take the naming scheme a little more seriously. Although the price is what it always has. The Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2 are priced at Rs 2,999, which means that they are considerably cheaper than all of the above-mentioned brands best known for running and fitness shoes.
Xiaomi has actually ticked most of the checklist boxes of the Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2. It’s a nice thing to look at, whichever hue you choose. It’s well built, considering the incredibly enticing price tag. Materials under the foot can not have a lift to the vanity of privilege, yet humbly do the work they are expected to do.
