The first official rendering of the new phone was seen earlier this week, unveiling its Xperia 1 II-inspired architecture. Today, in addition to detailing the main specs, new renders have appeared.
According to a story in Android News, the Sony Xperia 5 II will feature a 6.1-inch full-HD+ HDR OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate as well as a 240Hz touch-sensing resolution. Sony is said to continue delivering an aspect ratio of 21:9, dubbed CinemaWide in marketing terminology.
The phone is said to come fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can be extended with a microSD card. The mobile comes with 5 G access.

The computer will mount Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ram. The latter would be expandable via a MicroSD body.
While the 6.1-inch screen is by no means compact, it will make the Sony Xperia 5 II one of the smallest flagships we’ve seen in a while. Considering how many people will welcome a new compact Samsung flagship, Sony may be on to with this one.
The leak declined to disclose the price or availability information, but it is likely that the phone will be unveiled on September 17 event at Sony and not at IFA 2020.
